Restorative Yoga: "The antidote to stress": Restore your system, or learn something new about what rest and comfort really means for your system, and how to practically apply these lessons to improve your life and recover from/reduce the impacts of stress.
Reiki or Reiki and Movement
Reiki is a natural healing method that supports the body's own recovery and healing. Reiki treatments help to relieve stress and pain both at a physical and emotional level, restoring a sense of balance and well-being. This subtle energy work combines beautifully with a gentle addition of subtle somatic movement based in The Feldenkrais Method® or with Restorative yoga.
Svadyaya / Self-Study Sessions: Curious and want to explore further? Dealing with a challenge to your wellbeing, or simply interested in expanding your knowledge of yourself, your anatomy, and ways to practice that support your health, lifestyle, and even your aging process? Bring your intention and well co-create a session around your curiosity!
The antidote to stress is relaxation. To relax is to rest deeply. This rest is different from sleep. Deep states of sleep include periods of dreaming which increase muscular tension, as well as other physiological signs of tension. Relaxation is a state in which there is no movement, no effort, and the brain is quiet.
