Rest, Reiki, and Sound Healing
July 14, 2-4pm
Restorative Yoga, vibrational healing, and Reiki all combine to create deep restful states, invoking the body's own method of healing. Find, balance, healing, and the possibility of releasing what no longer serves through these gentle practices that work so beautifully together. In this class, gentle movement will help you settle into deeper states of relaxation, in fully supported poses. Students will practice in a space charged with Reiki (supportive energetic healing) and will each receive a few minutes of hands-on/off Reiki, as well as gentle adjustments and the use of ethically sourced essential oil (if appropriate). No experience necessary.
Please join us for Chair Yoga Teacher Training. During this 15 hour training learn to support longevity, joint health, and resilience, while responding to the myriad needs of the diverse people who benefit from yoga in a chair. In addition to nourishing, gentle, and meditative chair classes, we will also explore ways to make chair classes more active, as well as experiencing ways to tailor classes for people with movement disorders or balance issues, like people with Parkinson's, MS, Brain Trauma, and even stroke. The cost of the training is $450 + manual fee.

We have all needed to adapt to the various ability levels of people in our regular classes. The knowledge you gain here, translates to those moments, making you a more adaptive and responsive teacher.

Expore neurobiology (brain and nervous system) and physiology (body operating systems) of trauma and prolonged stress (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and how to apply this wisdom into your teaching.
